If you’ve never worn birks before, you’ll find the soft footbed more comfortable
at first.
But long term, once you get used to them, the classic is best.
Also, all of these alternative recommendations are fine and all. But birks are classics for a reason. They’re all I wear (weather permitting). Once I wore them for a little while I found that all other shoes didn’t cut it anymore.
