We still have a chance as long as we keep up the big crowds at away games and sell out the home games.  And once the almighty dollar makes it worth the fight against the bigots then we should get in.  

On field performance definitely helps but it is just frosting.   

We didn't get into the P12 because of Stanford and Cal lobbying against us (for political reasons) and I think they figured that Utah (the state) would eventually turn all red not understanding the BYU fanbase. 

As for the  B12 - TCU is the one that cost us there.  (that and how in flux it was when we originally started talking with them).  Once TCU got in they pushed for WV (thanks Fatterson).  TCU is actually the only team I truly hate.  (I can't hate the U as it has provided a whole lot of opportunity to all my families back in Hawaii-BYU can't give scholies to all of them but I sure wish more would choose BYU when they  do get the offer (e.g. Brad, Malosi,  🙂 ).  If you have been to our neck of the woods you would see how much that really means to the community, I have friends/family with three families (including all their children) living in a 3 bedroom home.  A scholie is not just nice, it's critical for them.
