I’ve heard that they stopped using vents at UMC in Vegas
They are doing high flow O2 now for those types of patients.

So, we may not have a ventilator shortage issue like it was originally thought.

Assuming this is the proper treatment, but weren’t like 80% of people on vents dying anyway? Seems like a desperate last chance that was possibly doing little to help the patients.
