I didn't mind the acting, but the side plots were lame and very anachronistic
They try and confront all these mid to late 20th century issues 75 years before their time.
The charm of the earlier series with Megan Follows was that you went on a journey back to a unique and little known time and place to experience common and timeless human emotions, while this new series never lets the viewer escape as it pollutes itself with current and recent cultural issues.
We dropped it before finishing the first season.
