"Only" three laid off, but lots of cases where people are taking their vacation prior to being laid off, people at half pay, people furloughed, people with LLCs that cannot get unemployment and are taking out small business loans. One member of the ward has a green card which apparently put him at the back of the line. He was the first to get laid off and still hasn't heard back on his application for unemployment four weeks later. The stress the economy shutdown has caused is far worse than COVID imo.
