He hadn't played football in like 4 years, so a slower first year makes sense.
Bronson I think was always the best prospect. Definitely the best high school player, and was good right away, although he also played on the basketball team between in freshman and sophmore year. Which I don't see as helpful to football. Then as a junior they tried to play him at LB, where is did fine, but DE is clearly where is he best. Really good as a senior.
Devin hasn't shown much. He seems undersized to me, so a year off might help him get bigger and stronger. I'm guessing he'll still be a contributor at Utah, but not a starter.
