"dumb down" society. Wash your hands, politely but clearly call out those who don't wash their hands in public bathrooms, teach your children to wash their hands when done using the bathroom, have hand sanitizer at your desk and use it frequently. But, please, don't just dumb down our society by simply lowering our standards.
