Unfortunately she had been going into work (where she was socially distancing) until she found out her friend’s dad had confirmed positive. Interestingly, the people she was in closest proximity to at work have now been tested and are all negative. So just keeping a safe proximity seems to work. Being in the same car is clearly too close.
