Finally played Fortnite. A little underwhelming.
With how much publicity it has received I expected it to be the most incredible game ever. But for some reason it didn't really grab me.
Having grown up playing Goldeneye, Half-Life, and Halo I'll admit to having dated tastes. With that being said, my biggest takeaway is that Halo missed a huge opportunity to come out with a game like Fortnite a couple of years ago. A freely available (on multiple platforms) battle royale Halo would have crushed it.
Who knows, by the end of quarantine I could come out a Fortnite junky with 10 million YT followers and teal hair.
