I actually agree with this. Trade Rudy for someone that'll make less money and then parlay Conley's expiring
deal for a max player on the trading block that has multiple years left.

The Jazz can then afford to do that. If Mitchell goes on the Max and Gobert on the supermax, they can't afford to parlay Conley's contract into a longer term max because the luxury tax bill would get insanely high. Like around $100 million.
