But in my Junior High American History class, we were given a test about "Who founded the Mormon church?" We went over the test the next day and my answer of Joseph Smith was marked wrong — the teacher claimed the correct answer was Brigham Young. I went up after class to complain that the "answer" was incorrect, to find out that she'd apparently copied the test from the teacher's version of the textbook, and the textbook had the wrong answer. I showed her in the part on Mormon's that Joseph Smith was the founder but she appeared not to be able to understand the test was wrong.
On Monday, I got to class as we had a substitute, who we had for the rest of the year. Apparently the history teacher had Alzheimer's and was put on sick leave the remainder of the year, and retired at the end of the year. I suppose I remember that now because we really took advantage of the substitute.
