My friend and I were driving in the right hand lane heading south towards Orem. Out of nowhere a green hatchback two lanes over swerves into my lane and brakes hard. I slam on my breaks and somehow avoid hitting them. Never slammed my brakes that hard, I must have been inches away.

What's weird is the hatch back then does a u turn and starts speeding away going north in the south bound lane, driving towards pg going the wrong way. We called 911 to let them know what had happened.

When my friend got home he and his wife turned on the police scanner app, turns out there was a head on collision near the pg exit. Drunk driver apparently.

Hoping no one was killed.
