We all know that the athletic dept has to stay in the black on its own. If the Church won't allow tithing money to be used for sports, than money from the general university accounts would not likely be given to the athletic dept (my opinion). I doubt the athletic dept has those kind of funds stashed away. I'm sure there is a rainy day fund, but doubt it could be deep enough to weather a full year without FB and MBB
