we have dealt with this for years. Short answer is: how good is your kid? when registering, the website requires
you put in your address and then it designates your district

IF.... you just so happen to put a neighbors address in, that is in the adjacent boundary, it would allow you to register there

Will someone call you out on it? Probably not. Especially if the boundary line goes through neighborhoods.

We had a couple instances of this. We had a kid all the way through play on an Olympus team, even though he was in Skyline boundaries. He was an average player and friends with, and went to school with his olympus teammates. We never said anything

We had a kid register and show up to first day of practice that lived in Highland boundaries but used a grandma address to play for skyline. He was a real good player. Before the first game even happened, Jeff Goringe and the Ute Conference Board Criminals informed us that he had to go back to highland and we were threatened that we would be penalized for it. Luckily we weren't but long story short, it depends on how good the player is and how real the new address is.

And how much Goringe is getting juiced under the table by your district
