the art of running a ball down is something he just never figured out, though. Much smaller DBs easily denied him position while in route. He played remarkably small unless it was a jump ball situation, or a comeback route.

But I don't think any of those things were for lack of effort on his part. He just didn't have a feel for the game, & none of our coaches seemed to have the cure.
