But I'm clearing it up that byu neither missed nor would welcome him right in if he wanted in for this class. So don't use the eye roll emoji because despite me wanting him, you wanting him, everyone wanting him, that's just how it is. It's the simple truth.
It's just bad timing. But for a pure ILB who doesn't project up to a possible different spot, when byu has a million LBs and a 2 or 3 LB defense, I see why they're doing it that way when they are extremely handcuffed this class.
We could "go on record saying it's bad" for a hundred different guys over the years but it doesn't matter. They moved on and unfortunately we have to as well. Focus on the few spots they have and the more important positions they need to fill. If it means getting a DE or DT or an extra safety, I'll take it.
You're making this all about recruit ratings though. I don't really care who has a half a point more than someone else. I also don't care what the ratings are in Corona-May 2020. Damuni is rated just as high right now and is easily the top prospect for byu outside of the OL from Florida.
