...that pounds the offensive glass with long arm guys like Baxter, George, Harward, Haarms etc.
Pope and staff have really made up for poor recruiting through the transfer portal. Harward, Lowell, Harding, Barcello, Haarms are all guys who will be close to or above 10 pts a game next season. We'll be a lot like Gonzaga last season with a bunch of players capable of leading the team. Others like Baxter, Lee, Spencer Johnson, Knell and Wade will be consistently chipping in with 6-8 pts a game (I think Wade could be in that top group by the end of the season).
We won't have to rely on the same 2-3 guys every game to carry the scoring load and if one of them (or two of them as in the case of the WCC tourney loss to SMC) is having an off night we'll have several guys filling the void. This makes us tougher to plan for, opposing defenses will have to be a little more generic in their preparation and won't be prepared to handle any surprise individuals that go off (like we saw with Shabazz Muhammed at USF or years ago with Bobby Sharp at Portland).
I think the 2020 team will outscore the 2019 by several points a game and could be the highest scoring team of the Pope or Rose era.
