How bad the ice gets as the Playoff progress into June as arenas struggle to keep the temps down. Granted, these will be empty arenas, so it should be easier. But if they're forced to use smaller, less quality ice arenas in the height a Vegas summer, the surfaces could get pretty bad.
Even though I'm in the Twin Cities right now, I really don't care if they decide to put games here because I won't be able to go anyway. That said, the Twin Cities has the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, the Target Center in Minneapolis which has a decent sheet, and Ridder Arena (home of the Gopher women, and probably better ice than Target Center) on U of Minn campus. Then there's all the college and high school ice arenas in the area that could serve as practice rinks. I wouldn't be surprised if the NHL named Minnesota as a hub.
