If you want to get really technical with board specs I would get one with a
Continuous rocker. That means the board will pop off the wake a lot smoother which is better for beginners/intermediates. 3 stage and 5 stage rockers will give you more pop off the wake but can be jarring for beginners.
Most won't tell a difference between them though so not super important.
