I received a flyer in the mail last week from my Hyundai/Genesis dealer where I leased my car two years ago.The flyer said they would give me $55,250! That got me in the door. It was a bit of a bait and switch but wife and I were looking to replace her small SUV and let the lease expire on the Genesis. They proceeded to do the dog and pony show with the numbers Getting better. They would drop the sticker price nearly 25%, eat the remaining 10 lease payments Totaling $6500 AND pay the sales tax, delivery and licensing fees. I was in shock but told them I wanted to think about it overnight.

I took the paperwork early the next morning and went to a competing dealer. I was told the First dealer could not possibly do what they have told me they would do. We returned to dealer number one.

This is where my confirmation comes in. This is a huge dealership with probably 15 different sock it to you desks. My salesman was called over to the front desk and he proceeded to tell me he was writing up another customer currently. He checked and there was not a single desk available where we could sit! All had customers working with salesmen. Completely full. It was 11 o'clock in the morning! He asked us to go out and sit in the car we were buying and start learning the buttons etc. and he would come get us when a desk opened up! I was completely shocked. They stuck to their numbers and we bought a gemstone red Tucson. Wife loves it so I'm happy.
