No. Give us basketball. I don’t mind pushing the start of next season back
(or even if that becomes a permanent thing), and I also don’t mind if next season is also condensed (e.g., 65 games) in order to accommodate.

I hear you about the injury risk, but at some point their job is to play basketball. Taking 2 months off and then starting another season isn’t a huge deal, especially if that’s a shorter season anyway. Most teams would have a much longer break anyway.

And competing with the NFL shouldn’t be a factor. The NBA would do just fine, and certainly better than the alternative of having no ratings because there are no games.
