You would honor the 2nd winningest coach before you would honor the 1st????
Talk about an ignorant take.....or in another words, a very stupid take from 96 people.
Stan Watts won the NIT twice which was arguably more prestigious than the NCAA tournament at the time. How close did Dave Rose get to winning the most prestigious tournament? I like Rose, but his resume pales in comparison to Watts and the team was painful to watch most of the post-Jimmer years.
Stan Watts accomplished way more than Dave Rose, let's honor him first, anything else would be stupid.

However, BYU has gone away from naming things after people who were not Prophet or Q12. This is a worthy exception.
