No one likes Satan’s plan until they become parents of young adult children
To your point that’s what I always joke. Imagine heavenly father’s stress when he sent all of us down here with free agency!
IMO, hardest stage of parenthood bu right before the best part...being grandparents
The two biggest surprises of parenthood for me were 1) When they hit about seventh grade and go completely narcissistic on you, and 2) When you realize they have to make their own choices and you have to brutally watch them make mistakes knowing the pain they’re going to go through because of it.
In both cases, I called my mom and talk to her about it, and she said “yes”.
