I'll try lower watt light bulbs. Haven't yet though.

Most fans have lottle circuit breakers in them.

This has been a problem for me in the past. Put in small bulbs and the problem

You should do a full audit of your breaker box.

There is a breeze button on the remote turn it off.

If the light goes off then maybe not I have a breeze functionality on my fan
