This is one of many reasons the FB program is in trouble.
Fewer and fewer kids care about sports. That and BYU's real glory days are waaaaaaaaaaay behind us. Those left with an interest tend focus to the heavyweights, which we are not. Sure, there will always be a decent segment of society and youth who want sports. But we have to be appealing to that segment. And no, BYU football is not, currently, nor has it been in a while.

Danny Ainge's NBA career was done before that guy was even born. It's a little weird as he's from Boston.
