COVID and the riots are mostly (not all but mostly) hurting vSMBs and individuals making less than $40k. I read that the unemployment rate for people under $40k was like 35%. Point is, that perhaps (again just guessing) these ver small businesses and relatively low income individuals don’t have a huge impact on the stock market in the short term.
They will in the 6+ month range as they stop buying and as the businesses stay closed, but perhaps the confidence in the market isn’t impacted much by this demographic.
