Sometimes I think the term "Millennial" just means "younger kid who annoys me"
I've been in discussions at work with older employees complaining to me how millennials are ruining the country and whatnot. Then, I tell them I'm a Millennial, and they're shocked and backpedal "Well, you're the exception", "You're not like the Millennials I know" etc. This despite most people in my department are primarily Millennials, and they've reported similar conversations to me.

Maybe, just maybe, people just like to label and complain about people who do things different than they do.
