I think food choices are better. Other problems are really hard to fix.
You could put in chairs everywhere.

The jumbotrons and audio are, IMO, good enough. The view will never be as good as from your couch.

Traffic is poor, but hasn't gotten worse. Tailgating is allowed - so I'd say do it if you want (personally, I don't. Adding hours to an already time-consuming event just doesn't work for me.

I think staying home is a "fair" choice for fans, too. BYU sells its media rights for big bucks, and as a result often plays at very inconvenient times. They might prefer I go to games, but they have made staying home more attractive than it was before. And for the price of just a ticket, I can buy food for anyone who wants to come over. I get a couch and private restroom, too. Hard to beat, really.
