and had the cops called on me. The cop was a little annoyed that he was using his time on this issue. He didn't know the laws either.

My wife wants to make sure that we are legal, I don't personally care. I figure as long as I'm courteous driver--I don't let my kids drive, I always pull over and let people pass, I don't drive on sidewalks and parks--then I doubt a cop will give a ticket.

I am annoyed with the other golf cart owners who let their teen and tweens drive because they often run stop signs, take selfies, etc. and I think it is giving the rest of the golf cart owners a bad rep. But then again, I doubt I would call the cops.

The laws seem pretty vague on the legality of this. Hoping someone would have a legal perspective on this.
