Has anyone ever gone through this on their own or more likely gone through it with a child. My son is a great kid but the more I read about this, the more I believe he has it. When something bad happens to him he has a complete meltdown. Tonight he fell off his bike and came in with a hurt arm. It’s not serious but that triggered a meltdown and he says some pretty bad stuff, most of it isn’t true, some of it is just partially true and a very small portion actually true. It is all his perception though. Anyway, he is going to be 11 next week and we are trying to get a grasp on things to help him. It wasn’t that bad when he was younger but I am getting really worried about him. Any advice would be appreciated.
