Eero's a bit expensive, like Orbi, but is more user friendly. Orbi has more granularity with ports and settings etc.
Here's how Eero allows us to manage wifi and ethernet access.
You can create profiles and assign devices to those profiles. For instance, we've created a profile for our son, and assigned his computer and laptop to that profile. We've also created profile for entertainment devices (Rokus, TVs, etcs).
We can then set schedules for those profiles, which will automatically turn off internet for any device in that profile. All this is done from an easy to use android or iPhone app.
We also can manually turn off internet for a profile whenever we want. This is great when we suspect our kids are using internet when they shouldn't be, and we go into the app and silently say "No Internet for you!".
We can block individual devices from our network.
We also get notifications anytime a new device joins the network. This has been handy in situations where a child is trying to get an old laptop onto the network.
We can also give guests access to a guest WiFi network just by having them scan a QR code on our phone.
Note that all this works great for limiting internet access, but the router has no control over limiting cellular data access. I haven't researched tools to limit cellular data access yet, since our kids don't have cellphones.
The reason we have all of this setup this way is one of our kids has issues with self control, and regardless of what we've done to train and teach he has issues with using devices without permission.
