Meaning that so long as my phone signal is strong, I should be OK?
I think that's the real unknown here. I know they have cell service, I just don't know how strong the signal is.

I just did this on a iPhone 11 in rural Idaho and it worked fine. On Verizon.

More a function of the quality of the data connection than the phone itself.
