A week or so ago there was a thread condemning liberal arts edu as valueless
Or pehaps worse.
STEM degrees are important, but there are numerous issues across the country today that are a result if ignorance. Cultural ignoranxece, historical ignorance, sociological ignorance...
Without education towards those things, i don't foresee the societal issues we are dealing with getting better.
Erasing our history is an incredible shame.
