It was hyperbole to say “most”. But I’ve had a Titleist club fitter tell me that a significant number tour pros
go 1-2 degrees stronger with their blades.
And I know they all hit the balm stupid far without that.
In Utah mid summer my 8 iron is my 195 yard club, and I’ve played with plenty of guys who hit their irons a lot further and better than I do.

It absolutely is true. Most get them custom made with stronger lofts than the stock blade lofts.

They all tweak shaft length, loft or lie. Or 2 or all 3. Custom fit.
