I look at a lot of plans most of which are drawn by engineers and they are all imperial. Everything is in feet.

In the 24 years I’ve been in my industry I’ve only seen plans in metrics a couple of times. I look at a lot of highway and other road plans plus quite a lot of BLM and forest service plans and all are imperial.

I used to hear a lot that everything is as going to change to metrics but it’s never happened and I never even hear that it will any more.
