CoachSpeak Intervention Needed
I went hiking/camping there a few decades ago when those huge fires were...
raging through the park. They still let people hike and camp in the back country during them, I’m not sure that would be allowed now in the same situation.

The fires forced the wildlife out into the meadows and open areas so we would hike into a meadow and there would be very type of animal you can imagine all together in the open areas just cohabitating in them. Both types of bears, moose, elk, deer, fox, coyotes, rabbits, you name it all together in clearings to avoid the fires.

This was before wolves were reintroduced.

It was very surreal and something I doubt I’d ever see again.
