Lost Games - Saving our Season (We can dream, right?)
Maybe we can work something out like this:

Week 1 Take the game against Alabama in Arlington - they were playing USC, we were away against Utah.
Week 2 - Colorado State comes to Provo - they lost their away Colorado game, we lost out home Minnesota game.
Week 3 - We play away against Texas Tech - we lost our away game vs ASU, they lost home game against Arizona.
Week 4 - Figure out where to play Cincinnati, that is really the only option other than a local small school (Weber, SUU, Etc)
Week 5 - 11 as scheduled...and then
Last game of the year we have Notre Dame come to Provo since we lost Stanford and they lost USC (both away on the same day)...but now would be the perfect time for them to give us that home game that they signed up for...right?

If I was the SEC & the Big12 I would be sticking to a 12 week schedule because:
1 - These areas are football crazy and the fans will want football
2 - $$...no way that already struggling networks (FOX/ESPN) are going to pay full price for fewer games...not happening, why would they do that? They are running a business, not a charity show, these schools are going to take a hit with fewer games. Double-whammy when they play with no fans in the seats. I could see the SEC saying, sorry, we are playing, fans are coming, just deal with it.
2 - This is the best way to show all future recruits that football in the South is your best option...why chose to play for a West Coast or Big10 or ACC team that isn't really serious about football...you could push the PAC12, ACC, and BIG10 even farther down the totem poll.

Yeah, pipe dream, its all going to be cancelled...but if BYU/ESPN/and all the teams other than the PAC12/BIG10/ACC want to give it a go, BYU as an Independent is flexible.

Come on SEC - stick it to all these other conferences...you are our only hope!
