Hey now, some of us don’t live in new neighborhoods that have the infrastructure
To support your fancy shmancy high speed stuff. Some of us have to settle for only 1 internet company option and lower speeds because the phone lines are older. The trade off of not living in my neighbors armpit is worth it to me.

I think we pay $30 or something per month for up to 30mbps dsl. But the highest I’ve seen it is 22. We were told we might see a boost in speed if we shell out for a more expensive router and something about splitting or splicing the line. But the technician was highly doubtful It would actually work, so we’ve got what we’ve got.

But we’ve had no issues with having my husband working from home, Netflix, zoom meetings, etc, several devices going at the same time. 6 of us doing school from home and a husband working from home, only a handful of times where the internet had trouble keeping up, mostly with zoom meetings. And then we just reset the router, it resumed getting the proper speed, and everything was fine. Is it perfect? Nope. But it works for us.
