I went to Vegas for a week once in July and it was 115 or so but IMO bearable.
It was really cool seeing all the tire marks on driveways and stuff that was different for me. I would take dry 115 over Houston humidity 100 any day. Helps to have a pool in either though.

People are great, economy is great, government is great (for the most part). Humidity sucks, but Texas is a great state.
