But I really do wonder about this and I've kind of posed the question before. If BYU does put a season together I think the most likely scenario is that it will be mostly against the other independents. So, how do they players feel about playing Umass, Liberty, NMSU, Army, maybe some of them twice? I would wager, if I were the wagering kind, that a lot of the younger players would not want to spend a year of eligibility on that kind of season. I also think some of the seniors would just say "see you later". If you could get ND, which I still think is a pipe dream and you add Army to that I guess it could make it a little interesting.

I love college football, BYU in particular, but I love it all and it is just very disheartening to me to think it is not going to happen. Losing the NCAA tournament was bad enough, but football, come on. I'll have to hope for good weather so I can play golf every day into December.
