Backcountry Intervention Needed
They aren't native, but they are found on Pilot Peak in 2 streams. It is thought
that fry or eggs were brought from the Truckee, and a population was started in Utah in the 1800s. This population existed unknown to biologists for a very long time. The fish were found long after they were believed to have been extirpated. It is a freaking miracle. Absolutely incredible discovery.
