I feel the same way about Idaho. Growing up it was rather easy to go to the
mountains and find solitude. Now it is ridiculous. The highway from the Treasure Valley to Cascade and McCall is a constant line of cars, trucks, and RVs on Thursday and Friday heading to the mountains. Then it's a constant line of cars on Sunday night back the Valley. Camping from Monday through Wednesday provides for smaller crowds but you cannot find solitude like you used to.
