I enjoy my work well enough.
But I work to live, I don't live to work.
If I had the financial means to retire right now (either through my own savings and investments or via unemployment) I'd probably go ahead and do it. Give me a chance to spend more time with family, take care of some projects that are waiting until I have more time, and even volunteer at a few places.
I do think that there are some people who really really do love to work. And would continue doing it no matter what. That's just not me.
