Eddie Intervention Needed
Yeah - I struggle with that too.
Being financially independent is different than taking on unemployment for the rest of forever.

To me, it was more a question of - would I keep working if I didn't have to keep working. And the answer is maybe in a much smaller role. But probably not full time.

It would also be nice to not rely on a paycheck in that I could focus on doing the most enjoyable aspects of the job. There are days it would be nice to return to being a peon rather than being a supervisor - but supervisors get paid more.
