There's a place near where I live that has some vintage arcade games, and I went there with my kids and crushed it with Centipede and Spy Hunter, some of my best games ever. I don't think I'd played either in a quarter century, and was stunned at how well my muscle memory held up.

But then I played them each a few more times and didn't come remotely close. It was weird, maybe just having no expectations on the first go or something.
