understand the first farmer. I caught 'lamb' and 'count'. I've not encountered this accent I could understand the second farmer easy enough. The accents out in on the western fringes of the island can be really difficult, and then when you get an old drunk farmer with missing teeth the accent becomes impenetrable. I remember the first conversation I tried to have was on a street in Cork with an old drunk Irishman and I couldn't understand any of his heavy Cork accent muddled with a previous night's worth of drinking in the pubs.
