Belboz Intervention Needed

And I've still screwed up.

I work with a guy who is a year older than I am and his mortgage was paid in full a couple of years ago. He hasn't moved in about 20 years and his yearly income today is roughly the same amount as the purchase price of his house.
He never felt too big for his britches.
