If life changing means a different lifestyle then it probably wont change you lifestyle much if your net-worth is over a couple million dollars. If life changing means less stress, more debt paid off, more security, and leaving more to your heirs than I feel like a bonus $1 million would probably make a big difference even if you have a net-worth of $10 million.

I think the amount would be life changing for nearly anyone not mega rich. I guess I don't see life changing necessarily as lifestyle though.
