I'm in the same boat. My promotion will expire next month so I get to dance with them. Last year, I walked away from them for a week or two and called them the day I was going to mail back the DVR to give them one last chance. Once they saw I was willing to ship it back the guy gave me a deal that was worth going for, mid-pkg for $65 plus $300 in visa gift cards. They also signed me up on a new plan and because I didn't take a new dvr it helped with the pricing. I'll be doing the same thing in a week or two. It really depends on who you get but don't back down and be willing to walk away. I think it's best to get on it before it expires and not wait until after. Let me know how it goes.
