I don’t know what my own wedding cost since my FIL footed the bill..
although it was a very nice wedding and reception so I’m assuming several grand. That was 28 years ago.
I paid my part on my on my own since my parents were not the type to give any financial help and between her ring, the tuxes, the wedding dinner, and the honeymoon I was about $5,000.00 and worked two jobs for nearly a year to pay for it.
